Photography Website

For some time, I have been looking for a place to offer some of my photographs for sale. My primary intent is not to make a bunch of money, but rather to allow people to order some of my pictures for their walls if they want, and then get a couple bucks in the process. I have tried a couple different sites and they all just suck ass, or lack the ability to customize what it is you are selling... For instance, I might want to pair a photo with a frame and sell them together as one. No dice.

I know, a lot of you are probably thinking: "You are a fucking web developer, why don't you just build a site to sell it yourself?" Great question, and fuck you. I am lazy. I told you already I don't want to make a bunch of money, so there is little to no chance of motivating myself to put in hours of work on this project. Plus, who the hell wants to come home after a long day of programming and do some more programming? Not me. I want to get drunk and play video games.

Yesterday I ran across a new site still in beta called Snapvillage. It allows you to upload your photos for people or businesses to purchase for use as stock photos. So they might put it on a billboard or advertisement or publication of some sort. I signed up for an account and put up my first photo, but it has yet to be reviewed by the slow ass editors over at Corbis (the very same company that once kicked me in the nuts by not buying my previous office). I will let you, faithful readers, know if it pays off big and I get to retire at 25 and buy my own island in the Caribbean to mock you from.
